How long does the grant approval process typically take?
Once an application is submitted, SEAI grant offers are usually issued within a few business days. After receiving your offer, you have eight months to complete the installation and submit the final payment request documents.

When is the grant payment released?
The grant is paid directly into your nominated bank account by SEAI after the work is fully finished, paid for, and a post-work BER certificate has been published and submitted to the SEAI portal. You may also allocate Balco to receive payment from SEAI directly, this may help you reduce your immediate outlay, subject to our T's & C's (ask us for more detail).
